  • This isn’t a photo tour where we drop you at an overlook and hope for good light. We spent time scouting these locations ourselves so we can teach you how to effectively work a scene: what to look for, how to adapt when the weather changes, and how to create something that feels like yours.

    When filters actually help, when they don’t, and what equipment makes sense.

    Helping people find angles, foregrounds, framing and compositions they may otherwise walk right past.

THE EXPERIENCE

Telluride. San Juan Mountains. Dirt roads. Golden aspens. Mountain passes. Astrophotography. Coffee at way-too-early o’clock in the morning.

four nights in one of the most ridiculous landscapes in colorado.

  • We’ll base ourselves around Telluride and Mountain Village, with opportunities to explore the surrounding San Juan Mountains and areas toward Ouray and Silverton.

    The itinerary is intentionally flexible because the BEST landscape photographs rarely happen according to a strict schedule.

  • What the week may look like:

    ARRIVAL: meet in Telluride at 4pm to meet our group, and gear up for sunset!

    WORKSHOP DAYS:

    • Sunrise sessions, daytime shooting/instruction, lunch breaks, sunset shoots, editing/discussing, and astrophotography opportunities.

    LOCATIONS MAY INCLUDE:

    • Telluride, Mountain Village, the Million Dollar Highway area, Dallas Divide, Bridal Veil Falls, Last Dollar Road, Ouray/Silverton and other locations we specifically scouted.

    Our route will change with weather, light and conditions. That is intentional.

  • Your registration includes:

    • 4 night/3 day workshop experience

    • Sunrise and sunset field instruction

    • Astrophotography instruction

    • Composition and creative coaching

    • Drone instruction

    • Weather/location planning

    • Small-group access to both instructors

    • Pre-trip gear guidance

    You are responsible for:

    • Transportation, lodging, airfare, meals (one group dinner is included on our last night!)

  • Colorado Landscape Workshop - $2,000

    $1,000 deposit to secure your spot, the remaining is due 7 days before the workshop.
